Advanced Russian Training (ART)

Short Course

Курс адресован тем, кто владеет русским языком на высоком и профессиональном уровнях (В2 и выше), имеет богатый словарный запас и хорошо знает грамматику, но все же допускает досадные ошибки: в ситуациях, когда пытается изложить свои мысли, принять участие в спонтанном разговоре, дискуссии, в повседневном общении с носителями русского языка.

ART for Heritage Speakers

Enrollment note: This course, comprised of four 60-minute sessions, may start at any time, preferably with one week lead time. Cost posted is based on individual (one-on-one) study. If you would like to form your own group (max 4) the cost for each participant in the group will be reduced to $90. You can also extend the course beyond 4 sessions. "Oh, ART is lovely. I really enjoy meeting with Liudmila, she does a great job of giving me assignments that I enjoy and learn from... And, just 'performing' Russian an hour a week with an educated speaker, preparing for lessons, etc... it's so useful for us teachers to regularly 'see' the student's perspective." - Michael A. Denner, Professor of Russian Studies, Stetson University

"I just finished my final lesson this morning, and it went really well! My instructor Anna was very attentive and effective in helping me identify and work on my weaknesses. She was so easy to talk to and gave me tons of useful phrases to make my speech sound more natural. It was very enjoyable overall!" - Faith Clay, Professional

"We're focusing on things that are very helpful, and my instructor makes good decisions about where to spend more or less time to meet my needs. I'm not shy about telling her what I want more (or less) of, and she is very responsive, but she also is a great diagnostician and chooses appropriate work without needing much feedback at all. It's exactly what I needed." - Instructor of Russian
