Central Asian Studies

Study Abroad

Central Asian Studies is an innovative program based in the fascinating region of Central Asia and combines intensive language or linguistics study with a range of regional studies courses.

The semester program looks at geopolitics, policy, and demographics while the summer program offers two distinct tracks: one broadly anthropological and the other specifically focused on linguistic anthropology. No matter which session you chose, a robust travel component will complement your studies, giving you wider, fuller, first-hand, practical perspectives on the issues that interest you most.
