Society, Business, and the Arts

Study Abroad

St. Petersburg's legendary concentration of culture contributes to its local economy by drawing tourists as well as an educated workforce attractive to international business. The very visible nature of the arts and business make the city an excellent location to study each as well as their interactions together and with society at large.

You will choose from a range of electives taught in English on culture, history, politics, economics, finance, marketing, and more. Several courses focus on the intersection of these subjects: how the economy affects the arts and the role of cultural movements within society. You can also choose to study Russian intensively as part of your program. You'll gain a wider, fuller, first-hand perspective on Russia for your future career in government, business, or academia.
