St. Petersburg: The Changing Energy Landscape

Study Abroad

What is the future of global energy security? How can countries work effectively within institutional frameworks to help meet the energy needs of their societies and economies? How will decarbonization efforts, recent oil price fluctuations, and sanctions affect Russian energy development and global energy security?

This course will examine all these issues and more through classroom discussions, guest speakers, case studies, and practical field trips. It is aimed at students of international relations, energy studies, and Russian language or area studies.
