Warsaw Online: Security and Society Summer School

The interactive, online Summer School “Security and Society in the Information Age” at Collegium Civitas will be held between July 13 and August 24. Interested students should apply by June 20. The Summer School course, combined with a research internship offers a broad overview of the security challenges faced by the countries of Central Europe and also by NATO and the European Union in the XXI century. It will focus specifically on topics such as cybersecurity, terrorism, hybrid warfare, intelligence, and the implications of the COVID-19 outbreak for international security. During the research internship the participants will be working on their own research projects. The resulting papers will be published.

The program is divided into two parts:

• July 13 – July 25: online course*
• July 28 – August 24: online research internship

Eligibility/Prerequisites

  • GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • 18 years of age at time of application

While coursework is designed for upper-division or graduate level students, strong applications from first and second year students will be considered.
