  • Russian as a Second Language - Irkutsk

    Study Abroad

Irkutsk provides an exceptionally intensive and immersive experience. RSL study is combined with up to three electives or an environmental internship, giving you the opportunity to use your Russian skills in more practical settings and build vocabulary. Homestays are available, active, and encouraged. In Irkutsk, English is less prevalent than in major cities and the slower pace of life means that strong, local, Russian-speaking connections can be made through SRAS-supported peer tutoring and through university sports groups and interest clubs.
